Research Fuels Our University
Florida Tech has a long-standing history of conducting cutting-edge research in a wide variety of disciplines. As such, we have continuously strived to become a world-class research institution. Florida Tech engages undergraduate as well as graduate students in many research projects. The involvement of undergraduate students in research ensures that they gain in-depth knowledge of real-world problems. Our graduate students, working with faculty members, learn how to define complex problems and seek solutions that will benefit industry as well as society as a whole. Our level of funded research has steadily risen over the years, and as such has served to establish Florida Tech’s reputation as a world-class university. Our offices provide a support and the proper infrastructure to facilitate the successful outcome for seeking out and securing funded research.
We welcome your collaboration, insight and partnership.
Office of Sponsored Programs
The mission of the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) is to guide and support the university community in the acquisition and administration of externally funded projects.
OSP is charged with the responsibility of handling all proposal and award activities for the University. OSP oversees the University's administrative and support systems for faculty in the conduct of sponsored program activities.
OSP strives to facilitate the competitiveness and compliance of our researchers by providing customer service oriented assistance, keeping abreast of sponsor requirements and state and federal regulations utilizing current technology. The OSP office is dedicated to providing current information, advice, and assistance to faculty and staff. OSP continually seeks ways to improve the processes and services it provides to the University. The OSP team, in collaboration with other administrative offices, works together with University faculty and staff toward the advancement of research for Florida Tech.
